After the incident of Jurassic Park comes The Lost World, which brings the chaotic energy of dinosaurs in contact with modern civilization.
With this cover, I tried to recreate the ominous energy and the destructive power of the T-Rex by placing its silhouette towering over the city to symbolize the horrific invasion.
Because Michael Crichton made a name for himself after the book Jurassic Park, I decided for this book it would make sense to place his name in bigger font to make it stand out on the cover.

To create the T-Rex, I drew an outline on black paper and cut it out. Then in the photo room in our studio, I played with yellow lighting to create a shadow on a white background. I took a picture of the shadow and adjusted the colors on photoshop.
