Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is a book
I enjoyed reading growing up. The dystopian world that closely resembled our world of today captivated my imagination. A thrilling blend of fantasy and horror, a few of his works such as The Martian Chronicles, The Illustrated Man, The October Country and this book have been molded into my memory.
The cover depicts a brightly lit futuristic city with snaking highways filled with the lights of the speeding cars. The uneven motion of the outlines symbolize the movement of sound.
"When people aren't zipping around in their speedy cars, they're at home sitting in their television parlors. Instead of four walls, living rooms are made up of massive television screens that completely surround the viewer."
"A great thunderstorm of sound gushed from the walls. Music bombarded him at such an immense volume that his bones were almost shaken from their tendons."

This quick two day painting was created from the vibe I received from the book Fahrenheit 451. It is Acrylic on canvas.
I took this painting to Adobe Illustrator and added various effects for the final book cover design.
